Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries are the best way to get those crispy, golden, and totally addictive fries you want—ready in just 20 minutes with zero deep-frying mess.

Crispy Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries in 20 minutes. Yes please!
Sweet potato fries are my absolute favorite, and I’m still amazed how fast they come together in the air fryer. We’re talking 15-20 minutes—faster (and way better) than those sad frozen ones from the store. Air frying makes them crispy on the outside and tender in the middle without frying in oil.

How to make Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries:
Prep and season: Peel the sweet potatoes and trim the ends. Slice them lengthwise into ¼ to ½-inch thick slabs, then cut into matchstick-sized fries. Try to keep the pieces as uniform as possible for even cooking. Season sweet potato fries with salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and cornstarch (cornstarch helps them crisp up!).
Air Fry: Drizzle or spray the fries lightly with oil and toss to coat. Air fry at 400°F (180°C) for 10-14 minutes, tossing once or twice during cooking until crispy and golden brown.
Note: Cook time can vary based on how thick your fries are and the type of air fryer you use. Thicker fries may take longer. When in doubt, start checking around 8 minutes to avoid overcooking.
