5-minute Apple Pie Overnight Oats

I love overnight oats because they're a high fiber, high protein breakfast that's just ready to eat in the morning, and this Apple Pie Overnight Oats version is one of my favorite flavors of all. I love to mix up a big batch and have them for the week, since my kids devour them to (they often taken them for school lunch!). Be sure to use unsweetened applesauce (or homemade applesauce!). And the fresh diced apples on top make it taste like apple pie for breakfast.

If you want to eat it sooner (not wait for it to sit overnight) use quick oats, a little less milk, and allow it to sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes-1 hour.

How to make Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats:

Combine: Add the milk, oats, yogurt, applesauce, chia seeds, cinnamon, and maple syrup to a jar with a lid. (I use half pint mason jars, or these cute glass overnight oats jars).

Mix: Shake or stir until fully combined, then cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 3 hours.

Serve: Give the oats a good stir, then top with freshly diced apples and a sprinkle of cinnamon just before eating. Try topping these Apple Pie Overnight Oats with homemade granola too.
